This week on Facebook someone had up a status that went something like this- some of life's lessons are painful but boy do we learn .

At first I shook my head in agreement but then after I started thinking of times when I fell in the same hole twice.


It is so easy at times to forget some of life's lessons, even the painful ones. Think of how often we end up dating the same type of people that we vowed to stay away from. Think of how easily we trust people who have hurt us repeatedly.

I have a hot oil mark on either thigh, why? I simply did not learn the first time around not to fry stuff wearing short shorts...or some lesson like that.
