He is too good to be true.

You've kept your standards high. You've kept your ambition and drive high also. You've done all the things you've wanted to do or you are in the process of completing a few.

You look at yourself and you figure, I am ready now.

Ready for what?

Ready for love and all the mushy gooey feel good stuff.

You want long walks. Flowers because it's Monday. Telephone calls only long enough to say, "Hey, I am thinking about you."  You want a man who still believes in opening doors. A man who would cook your dinner or at least try just so that you could get some time off your feet. You want someone you could pamper and who would do the same without being asked. You want lazy days together.

Finally after years of waiting he shows up, but the timing isn't right...or is it that the timing isn't perfect?

So what do you do when the man of your dreams shows up and you are now crawling out of bed. Do you ask him to wait while you clean up or do you ask him to leave and come back later?

Some of the greatest love stories did not start out as such...just two persons who met and one day realized how great a team they would be. Two persons who might have given up on finding love but decided to take one more chance because they saw in each other qualities that could make a relationship last and last and last...

Qualities that make you go back to your unedited "Perfect Man for Me" list because you see all the good you've wanted for so long.

So then you stop and you reason...that's what you call it...he can't be this good...no one is this good...

He is too good to be true.
