I am sure you know quite a few perfect people, we are practically surrounded by them...at work, in church, in our peer groups...
The world is full of perfect people!
They never say bad things, they never do bad things, and of course they never have bad thoughts. So, that when you do they are always first to doom you for it.
For these people there is no such thing as redemption, one bad move and you are cast into the pits of hell. One act defines your entire life and there is no hope for you. Maybe you dated someone who wasn't good for you, maybe you said something out of anger, or did some other foolish thing. You know you did wrong, but somehow they figure it is their duty to remind you of this every single day , every single minute as if you beating up on yourself is not good enough.
Stay away from these people.
Erase them from your life. It is good to have friends who will 'pull you up' when you do something bad, however, you don't want to keep someone around who seeks only to hold mistakes against you. Friends are supposed to help us along, not drag us.
You are not perfect, I am not perfect, but we could try to be better people.
If trying to do better is not enough for the people around you...if every time you succeed at something they have to remind you of all the times you failed...if every time you are triumphant; they seek to cut your celebration short...you need to get rid of these people.
