I first named this "Best First" but I really wanted to name it "Vagina First" so I did.

I was just listening to my roomie's tales of the week and in the midst of one of her stories about girls in short skirts she goes; " Why would you introduce yourself vagina first; your vagina should be the last thing people meet about you". Veronique Bailey you crack me up sometimes you know!!


She is right though why should that be the first thing people meet about us.

Let's move past that and dig a little deeper because this morning I was having a chat with a brilliant young man who asked me whether or not I would do the long distance thing.  I said yes, simply because I have done it before and even if I am not with the persons now they were good relationships and they still are people who I cherish. The reason the two connect for me is because I think that in long distance relationships you can actually get a chance to build a friendship, the physical does not get in the way and so you spend more time chatting and just getting to know each other.

It would be good if we treat most relationships like this, instead of introducing ourselves vagina first let's try brain first. Get to know the other person I mean KNOW them before you introduce physical intimacy of any kind into the relationship then at the end of the day maybe there will be less bitter, men-hating women walking around.  There is always a woman complaining about how men are dogs but maybe some introspection is needed as well maybe just maybe some women...  I dare not say it!
