In St. Vincent and the Grenadines there is an old saying "damn fool ah talk but nah damn fool ah listen".  For those of you who might not understand our local dialect it is basically saying 'A fool is talking but the person listening isn't a fool as well'.


This happens all the time, with friends, children, subordinates, classmates ...and it can happen any time and any where. 

What irks me about this is the fact that the person who is telling me the 'dumb lie' actually thinks I am buying into it. Then I have to wonder do I walk around with a stupid sign...who knows.
